故事梗概：Afilmadaptationofaplaymadebyahighschooldramaclub,directedbyYamashitaNobuhiroofLindaLindaLinda(2006).It’sessentiallyacoming-of-agefilmaboutteenagersmadebyteenagers.Duringsummervacation,atahighschool,thePEteachermakesfemalestudentswhoskippedhisclasscleantheoutdoorswimmingpool.Thedrainedpoolisfullofsandblowninfromanearbybaseballfield,andthetaskofscoopingupthesandandputtingitinbucketsseemsmeaningless.Chizuru,whousedtobeunbeatableintheswimclubinmiddleschoolevenagainstboys,practicesimaginaryswimminginthesand-filledpool,whileKokoro,whoisseriousaboutcultivatingherfemininecharmbydiligentlyapplyingmakeup,doesn’tcareaboutcleaning.Withtheirownstories,Miku,whodiligentlypracticesdancemovestypicallyperformedbymen,andYui,whowastheswimclubcaptainlastyear,andtheothergirlsmeetandconverseonthepoolfloorunderthesummersun,whereunexpectedconflictsariseandresolveinunexpectedways.Throughafewhoursinadayatahighschool,thefilminterestinglyshowsthesensibilitiesanddesires,dreamsandhopes,angerandfrustrationofthattime.
